It looks like they had the tips taken off so it's like jimping all the way down. I could be wrong though

I wouldn't bother with a saw toothed spine, or sanding one down for jimping on a hacksaw blade knife.

The only reason those are popular (if that) is they're cheap and easily made with easily found parts. But they suck.

Decided to carry my spydie today. The serrations are noticeably duller recently and idk how the fuck to sharpen a serrated blade. Can I make it a straight blade and how would I?

You just need a triangle stone. Or ceramic rod. Both are inexpensive.

You can get good quality 1×30 klingspor belts at Tru-Grit.com. It would only take a few minutes to make that a plain edge.

I have used Tru-Grit for years, they are good people, they will usually try to help you find hard to get abrasives.

A half round bastard cut file will make quick work of Micarta but watch out for the dust. You can finish off the Micarta with 220 x sandpaper...cut into strips and use a shoe-shine motion.

There's been a couple posted. Your not supposed to but I think it'll get over looked in the for sale section. I don't see why not

Mainly because you aren't supposed to, and it isn't its own thread so if this thread blows up then your single for sale post gets buried, which does the seller or potential buyers no favors since nobody sees it.

That's why the sale section exists. There is really no point to do so, and being that Bob has provided a specific sub forum to sell things you might as well use it as directed.

    Odd.

Looks like a Seax based blade shape. Probably a decent chopper. What is the intention of that hole and blade length relief cuts?
