Bolt on Demello hybrid sliders. I love them so far. The brackets seem extremely sturdy and well thought out.

Ordered a set of bolt ons from CBI Offroad. After talking with a couple vendors I was interested in, I liked CBI's design the best. They gave me a good discount, and great service. Will post when they are installed.

3 inch lift with Toytec Boss and All Pro UCA's up front. AP expedition leafs with Bilstien 5100 shocks in the back. 255/85/16 Cooper S/T Max tires. All Pro skids, rear bumper and sliders, Hidden winch mount with XRC 8000 winch. Dual Optima batteries with IBS combiner/isolator and solar. CMC. Auto sliding rear window mod, hidden CB, CVJ axles and plenty of other little mods.
I'm not sure I'm a big fan of those bolt heads sticking down. One good slide on the frame rail and they're toast.

There isn't a great way around that. All of the bolt on sliders that I've seen either have bolts there or on the cross members. Some use carriage bolts, which may help but are often weaker. These sliders can be welded at the bottom to the frame, but in that case you may as well weld the whole slider to the frame. In either case if I was going rock crawling I wouldn't of went for a bolt on. Where I go wheeling I need rocker panel protection more than anything else and these work great for that.

I helped install a set of Allpro bolt on sliders and they have a nice design that uses countersunk bolts. Good quality sliders.

Countersunk bolts would be a great idea! I wonder if CBI does that? If not, I'm gonna get some. Thanks for the idea!

Not sure if you're still in the market but check us out. We offer full bolt on, no drilling at all rock sliders for 2nd gen Tacomas as well as weld on. Our bolt on sliders use all existing factory holes, grade 8 hardware, and a couple ways to be some of the strongest bolt on sliders on the market. We offer multiple configurations whether you want the sliders parrallel to the ground to be more of a step or have the preload angle up. You can get the kick out or keep the straight to follow edge of the truck. Dom tubing for additional strength or regular HREW tubing. Also offering some of the quickest lead times out there, 2-3 weeks for raw steel, add a week for powder coat. Check my vendor page for more details and pictures on different trucks.
