This shok mat is a top quality product using only the best adhesives on the market. It also has one of the best butyl formulations for the deadening and damping requirements and is also one of the thickest on the market with these parameters. The deadener doesnt have a big thick foil to buff their thickness specs either unlike others. The deadener has a very conservative rating of 1.85mm or 70mil spec with an over all foil thickness of 1mm compared to most others at 4mm. The foil does not do anything but supply or offer a backing.

I have used 6 different deadeners in my truck and used the shok deadener in other trucks vehicles in canada and we have huge changes in temperate here and so far no issues or problems. AS i said they use one of the best adhesives.

If the back wall is done 80 SQ feet should do the trick.

I don't think I committed to purchasing, simply asked how much material was needed to do what I asked... but the price point is right so let me see what i can swing.

I bought 2 packs for my install, I actually had 2 sheets left over after doing the doors, floors, and wall. Awesome stuff and there's been a noticible difference of how quiet it is compared to before.

I gotta do the entire floor and roof and then figure out what to cover it all with since I dont have carpet or a headliner anymore. If I have extra I'll do some of the doors but with my exhaust and the bypasses I'm not expecting this thing to be quiet at all and I have the intercom anyway

Rcfreak, This is some of the best deadener on the market period. I just have a very good agreement with the owner as he hopes to enter new markets outside the SPL and SQ car audio world. Since I'm involved with both, it just made sense.

The funny thing is, id say over 80% of my customers so far have yet to even install they products.... but those that have all love it

Great! cant wait to hear about your experience! :) you will find this stuff is super easy to work with and sticks like crazy.
Do NOT heat it with the wax paper on the back cause others have done that and had a hard time pulling it off.

mine came today. it will be a little while before I can install it and now I think I blew something. I have stock h/u with jl front and rear speakers and 10" jl sub and alpine 5ch amp. about 2 years old now. just started today- sounds like to much bass. bass turned down on the h/u and bass knob for the sub all the way down. don't know audio... had it installed at a shop. I didn't like the job they did so don't want to go back there. any ideas before I go some place else?
