Boss 4x4 Group Buy May15- June 15

Looks like we will learn patience the hard way. Called, and ship will arrive Wed night. Because Friday they are closed, first chance for pickup will be Monday/Tuesday. Monday is definitely a no go for me, and I believe trent said he can do a tues/thurs.

 

I can do monday anytime before 2.

 

Cool.. you and whoever can go pickup everything and deliver it out..

 

Well crap, was all excited.

Do we know for sure who's name is on the pallet? Pick up time/day would kind of depend on if he is available or not.

 

Sarah asked for my number.. I don't know who is on the order for sure, or even if it's in more than one person's name..

In the past, group buys worked out good when everyone was able to get there, or a couple just took responsibility for the couple that couldn't.

If a couple of you can grab everything on Monday and it's ready, by all means please do so.

As far as my availability, Monday is probably the worse day for me. I am more than willing to pickup a bunch of stuff anyday other than Monday, and have available for pickup later in the day. I'm pretty sure only me, Brooks, Mike, and Chad don't have SBD... (short bed problems)... lol

 

Yeah she asked for my number also. I just didn't want to plan on picking up Monday, some folks get there and none can receive the pallet.

In any case, we should probably have one of you three there to take care of the pallet.

 

Ill be there monday if thats wen were picking it up. Im sure we can cut the pallet in half an fit it the bed an load watever we can on the pallets in the bed.

 

I dont have a sawzall or skil saw but if anyone does im sure they wont mind us cutting it in half.

 

Just remember my arb is 6.5' (not sure if it ships smaller), there are a set of rear leafs, and your exhaust... there is a reason why the pallet is 8' long... but have at it.. I'll pickup my stuff later in the day.

 

I dont mind having it poking through my sliding rear window lol. Im sure Dennis can handle his dakars.

 

Still think the best thing is to have a long bed there. I say we adjust pick up day/time to make it convenient for them.

While I'm sure we can make it work with a couple short beds, with my luck no mater how well secured everything is, something is falling out on the freeway....

Like to limit the chance of that happening as much as possible.

lmfao !!! SBD, I like that one. We should have Conor make a sticker of that! I started a new job yesterday and work 9-5. I don't have anything on the pallet since I only ordered floor mats and they're back ordered. So, I won't be much help. But, I don't think you'll be able to cut the pallet. Once you get there you'll have to have them drop it in someone's bed and then roll out with it. depending on who wants to take what you'll end up breaking down the whole pallet in order to get certain things. smarter to have someone take it to where everyone is to break down where it's safe. See,s like everyone is on the west side anyways. Just my .02

Ok so me, Dennis and neil anybody can make it down there at that time? So whoever gets called saying the pallet is ready for pick up let them know that we will be there on Tuesday at 0600 for pick up.
