    NEED HELP!!!!!

Hey guys, I'm in desperate need of some help. My fiancé & I went down to Lake Mohave today, down past Searchlight and got my truck stuck in some pretty nasty mud right by the lake. I've been to this little cove plenty of times in the past, but today misjudged how thick the mud was. After trying for an hour in 118 degree heat, we had to give up. Luckily an hour later we were able to flag someone down on the waverunner who then took me to a buddy of his that had a boat. We all got picked up and taken to Cottonwood Cove Marina where the park ranger dropped us off in Searchlight. I tried calling AAA to see if a tow truck company would come get us out, but the guy I talked to with the tow company said they wouldn't drive one of their trucks off-road and they only have one 4x4 truck and he had no idea when it would become available. A friend of mine has an older Tacoma, but he's in the UK right now but we were able to get ahold of his wife and another friend drove it down to us in Searchlight. By this time the sun was going down but we made it back to my truck with a little bit of light left. For some reason my truck won't start now, it's almost like the battery's dead, but I don't know why it would be. I was able to get it into neutral, but it wasn't budging with my friend's Tacoma. Can any of you assist me tomorrow in retreiving my truck? Any suggestions? I am more than happy to pay you. I'm not sure if my truck will start once it's pulled out of the mud, but I need to at least try and winch it out and get it back on dry land. Please PM or text me if you can help or with suggestions on who I can call. My number is 310-210-5630. We just got home, and it's been a long and scary day so I'm going to head to bed, but feel free to text me or call me in the morning.

This is where my truck is:

    Thank you in advance!

lol I can tell both the feds and Metro are not happy with illegal fireworks anywhere. If you plan on shooting anything except safe fireworks, DO NOT go to either the Jean or Boulder City lake beds. Fellow officers of mine were given over time to wear plain clothes and use there family's as cover. They will be watching. Just giving a friendly warning, you guys do as you please

It's still out there. On my way now to meet up with a tow truck/off-road recovery company.

Yes, took a little longer than expected. Tow truck was able to winch me out pretty easily. Just as luck would have it I had a dead battery, but I bought a new one and brought it out there just in case. Once out of the mud and battery installed I drove out on my own. Since it sad & mud & water for over 24 hours, there was a lot of caked on mud on the where, so it thew my balance off and the steering wheel wobbled all the way back home in Henderson. There's a squealing/metal scrapping noise coming from the rear end. Need to take it to a shop to get looked at. Any suggestions where to take it and what exactly I should have done?

I'd clean all the mud off before taking it to a shop. Maybe some Maxtrax would be a good purchase.

Rizzy, I'd be willing to help you find out where the noise is coming from, but I'd recomend cleaning all the mud off from the underside, first

All of the mud is gone. I went to a self-wash place this morning and did the entire under carriage. Later this afternoon I still saw a little bit of mud caked in in different spots so I spent another 45 mins or so with a hose and got all of the nook & crannies. Everything's clean now but the rear it still sounds like scraping metal. I'm thinking its sand & dirt inside the drum breaks.
