Yeah that's one of the reasons I didn't do it. If I had gears then I would have more than likely did it. But had to justify it with Hailey in the truck and not enough gearing for those tiars

The powerline was pretty fun. Even if I did pansy out on the big rock. My wee tires woulda needed some spotting help for a good line.

I actually had him get out, and he asked "Do I just make sure you don't flip backwards?" and I promptly told him to get back in and took the bypass route lol. This is the same kid that asked if we should zip the solid tent windows up because the black screen would let bugs in........ The black BUG screen..........

Ya, my cousin has been sheltered his whole life. And for the lack of better words..... it has made him a little dumb hahaha. "Who is that in the woods? Is there someone out there? Is that a flashlight? Is it a bear" Me: "you just said it was a flashilight!? How could it be a bear?"

Ya, Haley is awesome. Tending to that fire, even in her dreams. What a champ!

Ya we never saw forked mountain. Is it in the ozarks? We had a path we were following that some previous people had been on. While we should ha veered off course a little more because there were a lot of side roads that looked fun.

This is in the Ouachita NF, south of I40 between Russellville (Mt. Nebo in background) and Hot Springs. Photo taken from top of Crystal Mtn. You can get to the base of Forked Mtn., but more impressive from a distance. Son and I saw only 3 other vehicles all day out there, 7 hours.
