    I did 4 more coats. Round 2 looks much better. I'm not sure about the glossifier this time. It hazed it too much last time..

    Drivers side turned out better than passenger. Both look good though. Passenger side window button stuck pretty bad and I had to trim a bunch and it started to peel the derp some but it's not noticeable yet. It still sticks a little in the up position. I'm hoping it will wear down and stop sticking. If it peels up anymore I'll just take it back off and re do it.

    I ended up not using the glossifier. I may take them off and add it, but after the first time I used it I like them better without.

    I was thinking of plastic diping my stock rims? Has anybody done this i want to get an idea of how it looks.

    I thought about doing this but was worried that the black controls would blend in too well with the black dipped trim, but your photos don't look that way at all so now I'm tempted in doing this myself. Outside of not using glossifier and avoiding application in direct sunlight any other recommendations you could give for dipping these?

    Looks like you sprayed too close. This happened to me with my shift panel. The redo, I made sure to keep it a good 5/6" distance and mist it.

    As mentioned in post after yours, I think I need to put some more distance between my can and the pads. I may take the passenger side off and try it again since that one is the worse looking one of the two. The only part that is a problem is the holes where the button goes. It only sticks on the side of the window button. You could try taping that area so you don't get any dip in it. I may try that if I do a round two.

    Blacked my decals out on my white Tacoma. A buddy of mine has a black Tacoma and used the Orange blaze colour. On a black truck the coloured decals look look sharp.

    On white though may look like a kids colouring book.

    Because plastidip is a rubber based product tire shine works on plastidip as it would on your tire. Best kept secret of plastidip.
