Just picked up a set of flush mount led pods that I want to mount in my bumper. Is it possible to wire them to a 3 way switch with an auto/on/off? Anyone running a similar setup?

Yes. If you tie in to your existing wiring harness like I did, make sure to use a diode between the OEM hot wire and the light's hot wire to prevent damage.

That's what I did but there are other ways to do it.

I'm not trying to insinuate anything but IMO if you have to ask these questions you shouldn't be splicing in to your OEM wiring harness.

haha no worries. i just wired up some ditch lights, and a couple sets of hella off road lights for the first time, it wasn't so bad after studying multiple wiring diagrams. I'd imagine I would just use a t-tap into the reverse light bulb, and run everything to a dpst switch. i'm more of a visual guy so pictures help...which I can find a lot of, just not tacomas.

Yes. From the relay under the hood, i ran a power and ground wire to the lights in the rear bumper. I used the reverse wire located next to the plastic dead pedal. Currently I have this connected to a wire i ran through the firewall to pin 86 of the relay. I will be using a 3 way switch shortly as planned from the get go. I had to wait initially for other upgrade reasons.

now all you have to do is run the wire from the "load/output" pin of the switch to pin 86 of the relay. run the reverse trigger wire to one of the "input" pins and pick a "switched 12v" source for the other pin on the switch. you will not need a diode for this setup as is. the switch will act as the connection barrier for the reverse and switched input.
