I think this a risky move for toyota, but also bet is how it will happen.

Just seems crazy you can get an access cab limited tundra for 42000.

There are people like me who do not want a full size 1/2 Ton pick up again. The smaller size meets my needs.

You are correct including me, but placing the two so close may eat into some sales or cause people to look toward the competition. Canyon with leather for $38000 with incentives less. Frontier having a make over and getting a diesel and historically lower cost. New ridgeline, if you consider it a pickup. Canyon and frontier both getting deisels. Deisels may cost the same as limited tacoma. But, all that said I still think the price will go up

I looked at a Colorado WT just for grins. Have yet to go by a dealer who had a Z71 package on the lot. Was not that impressed with the Colorado.
People have complained Toyota has not provided enough info on the 2016 Tacoma. Well, Nissan is worse when it comes to what they are doing with the Frontier. Until it is updated, I won't give Nissan much of a look.

I don't want a diesel. So could care less if Chevy/GMC or Nissan comes out with one in the mid size pickup.

I would image the 2016 Tacoma will be priced to compete with Chevy/GMC. Nissan Frontiers have always been a few thousand less than the Tacoma.

    Ditto.

Same here. I've owned 2 diesel trucks & a diesel car. I'm walking away from diesel at this point in my life based on cost v benefit given my current needs.

Can anyone tell if the power windows are auto up/down and will it have automatic door locks that can open all doors at once?

I like it as well BUT have left several vehicles running when going in a store. Very nice in Texas as the unit was cool on my return. Just damn lucky it was there.....

I'm curious as to why the interior of the access cab Quicksand model is a dark grey/ graphite color, and the interior of this Inferno is color matched on the dash. Could there be different levels of Off Road trims? Is it a double cab thing? Too early in the debut of the Quicksand to show off those features? Is it a shit color to have inside? Hmmmm...

to the experiences Tacoma owner out there does the red that's been shown on the OR and Sport models thus far look like Inferno Red to you? I am really hoping they bring this color back because i'm not a fan of the Barcelona Red but have to get my 2016 in red for work. Thanks

It looks like radiant red from 05-10 I believe. My 08 was radiant red, its more of a red truck red not the ruby color like Barcelona or the orangey like inferno.

Thanks so much!! My Dad had Toyotas in 94 and 96 that were a true red. I've never been a fan of the metallic reds. He has been in GMC's the past 15yrs and that's a great red as well.
