Got the wonderful joy of truck maintenance this morning. Truck wouldn't start. OH JOY. After being 20 min late to work, headed to AutoZone and had the battery tested. Found out that the voltage regulator failed and was over charging the battery and making it overheat. So I replaced the battery and got a new alternator. Fun times....

Does anyone know if step tubes for a double cab short bed, will work on a double cab long bed too? I am guessing the mounts are the same for both, its just the bed length that is different.

    Yes.
I'm guessing they'll look a little off (ending about a foot too early)
Assuming the mounts are in the same location, which I'm not sure of.

yeah, I think they do ask. They are probably a little longer on the back end. Just wondering, trying to sell a set of them and was looking to update the listing.
