In a technician by trade. I got more ratchets and funky looking sockets then most people can imagine for getting into tight and or awkward spaces

Well its a land Cruiser with a diesel so I've got that going for me.
Okay sweet. Just doesn't seem like an actual solution to the problem which is actually part of the design. But good on you!

Well right now it stops the shaking. When o do the passenger side on wensday. Gonna do all of the suggestions I've gotten and if that one doesn't shake I'll take the drivers side apart again and re do it the same way

10 points for creativity. You know what, it may not look pretty but headlight aiming is one of those set it and forget it type things. Don't know if your solution will hold up in the long run but provided the plastic had a bit of meat to thread into it probably won't give u any troubles

If anything he probably has more ability to adjust using those then his stock adjustments cause now he can apply pressure to the projector to get it to move the beam haha

Right now it's threaded to the plastic. I got them
As low as possible. If anything I can JB weld a nut to the plastic

So after driving just now. Took the wife out for dinner. The light did not bounce or shake once. Compared to last night it's a whole different headlight lol. Then this happened ImageUploadedByTapatalk1434684306.832082.jpg

I did that too. I was able to shake it back out of the hole so I didn't have to take it apart. After, I taped the bulb into the socket before putting it back in place and have been fine since

I don't have a second gen but how does this have anything to do with aiming? The OEM screws adjusts the housing and the rotation of the projector is set by the index washer. He has only pinned the housing to the projector ring.

Still active as fas as I know. Maybe the site is having some difficulties with the code right now. I'm sure Andrew will chime in.
