2012+ Signal mirror wiring question , add to 2009 using signals for DRL

    That would look pretty cool if you could get them to also stay on at night as marker lights too. I think member @o0oSHADOWo0o may have already done something very similar.

    Off the top of my head, that can be done with the DRLs.... It would require additional relays and the use of diodes. A side effect at night would be that they would flash opposite of the stock turn signals due to the way they would need to be wired. Again, that's just a quick thought about it. I would need to draw it out to confirm.

    Absolutely, that would work too.

    But the little trailer adapter box should be able to do it all in a package as small as a pack of gum, so it'll be my first one to try. And cheaper too - I think paid $10 each in the surplus section at Princess Auto (think Canada's version of Harbor Freight).

    If you do it and it works as planned you should post your results. I'm sure a number of people would be interested in a nice and easy mod like that.

    I would definitely be interested in having my turn signals also act as side markers while the headlights are on.
