    Hi,
Can anyone with a regular cab and manual transmission with X-act contour floor mat tell me if they have this issue where next to the transmission housing, the X-act contour mats have a big gap opening ...it's not sitting flush. I like to know if this is an issue with just regular cabs or all models? Thanks!

    UPDATE:
Just an update for anyone searching in the future...problem was fixed via hair dryer.

Return it and get a new one. That's not normal.

I already contacted Husky... the replacement was exactly the same...that's why I wanted to post on here to see if anyone with regular cab had same issue with their husky X-act contour.

How long have they been out of the box? I have a double cab with the "classic style" mats, but my fronts had a similar thing going on for the first few weeks.

I had it for about 2 weeks now and still no change. One of the reasons to get the X-act contour was for the exact fit. I don't think this is a shipping issue. The replacement was exactly the same issue. This is why I posted on here to see if there are any other regular cabs manual transmission with the floor mat that had a better fit or same fit as my truck and if the access and double cabs share the same problem or it's a perfect fit.

Hmmm... Maybe give it more time to settle? I don't remember how long the Husky warranty is (lifetime I want to say?) cause mine have been in for so long, but if the warranty allows I'd wait a few more weeks or so. I don't think the model I have is much different material wise; I think it's just the tread pattern that's different.

Does it lay flat if you hold it straight? As in, if the bends weren't there, would it fit right (it's not cut too small or something)? Just making sure I understand the issue.

Passenger side is perfect. Driver side...The other sides are good fit as well...just the right side with the picture. It's not cut too small...but maybe too big so it bulges as shown in the picture. It comes in a big box unfolded so it's not that it had a lost of memory from the mold. I wouldn't mind heat shrinking it if it does shrink, but I don't know if it does. It's good laying flat outside the car...I just think it's a bad mold or a mold of double or access cab and not meant for regular cab...wish someone with X-act and regular cab chime in.

So none of the other X-act contour owners have this issue?

I went through those links before I posted this thread...didn't see too many mentions about fitment issues.

This is why I like the Rugged Ridge. It has a C-channel around the edges so that they stay rigid with no gaps.

I wanted to give an update... The problem is fixed via hair dryer. It took some time, but I was able to heat it up for a bit and bend the sides completely over so it would flatten and the end result is the photo posted below:

    So before

    And after

I hope that helps anyone with regular cab and manual transmission.

P.s. Don't use heat gun will be too hot and melt the rubber.
