    anyone know how to get ball joints out with out destroying them? I just bought some uniball control arms but replaced my ball joints a month ago.

    ah.. harbor frieght sells cheapos. also any machine shop should be able to press them out cheap

    I have had no trouble using 2 good size hammers. I don't even have a press.

    Place 1 hammer on one side of the joint and smack the opposite side with the other hammer. The shock of the hammer strikes will pop it loose. There will be no damage to the boots. This works great on tie rod ends too.

    Howdy everybody. IM not on the night shift yet, still on my TKR recovery for the next month. Hope everyone is having a decent summer.

    Haha yeah. It's a slow night but I'm off in 15 minutes.

    I might have a day shift job in the mountains but there would be a very substantial pay cut. Hard to argue with quality of life though and nights has been wrecking my body and mind lately. Choices choices.
