Let us introduce ourselves: Jigsaw Casting Ltd is a premier casting agency located in Toronto. In partnership with Saatchi & Saatchi, the advertising agency for Toyota Canada, we are looking across Alberta, Ontario & Quebec for Toyota truck owners for a commercial.

We’ve been referred to you as a Toyota Truck Client. We know Toyota Truck owners are proud owners and we’d love to consider you for a TV campaign. Tell us about the activities you use your truck for. Do you have a great story? We’d love to hear it.

Pays approx. $1000 to those selected

Jigsaw Casting Ltd. is searching across Ontario, Alberta & Quebec for folks who love their Toyota truck!

If your Toyota truck could talk, it could tell a million stories and we want to hear them! Maybe it's an epic journey, a tough trail overcome, helping a local animal rescue/charity, a mission accomplished, or a shared history that spans generations. We're looking for stories of you doing just that. Share your proudest accomplishment with your truck for a chance to be featured in an upcoming video highlighting passionate Toyota truck owners.

Tell us all the amazing things you can do, that you’ve done or you’re thinking of doing with your Toyota truck. Do you use your truck as a bridge, dump truck, crane, fire truck, pick me up, ramp, elevator or shelter? Have you used your truck for towing, pulling or lifting? Tell us what makes you and your Toyota truck the perfect team!

2. Which Toyota truck(s) do you currently drive? Please include truck year & model (either Tacoma, Tundra, or Pickup)
3. Your story about your Toyota truck
4. Photo of yourself, ideally where we can clearly see your face
5. Your primary contact information (phone number & email address)
6. Please write ‘PROJECT TRUCK’ in subject line of e-mail, along with your name. (E.G. PROJECT TRUCK- John Smith)

Submissions are due by: Monday, July 27th at 9am EST (but the sooner you submit the better your chances!)
You must be available for these key dates:
SKYPE INTERVIEWS: We will be holding Skype interviews each week with those that are being considered
SHOOT: Between August 10th- 30th, 2015 (We will come to you)

hmmm
I would be cautious but I am the perpetual cynic.

 

Just got an email to one of my personal addresses .. not the preferred email as it is with Toyota Canada. Notice they have a facebook online presence where they've also put up that 'casting call'. I would kinda like to know where this "referral" came from.

I fall within the catchment area.. but i'm hardly photogenic. Neither is my mismatched to budget and purpose base-Tacoma a looker.. a do'er yes. Needs new rear shocks/springs before i'd say it's doing anything more to write home about.

So yeah, it's a pass
