The bypass does not work on the 4100NEX. Turned the video off but holding the bottom left of the screen did nothing. Anyone know another way or what I might be doing wrong?

It should work exactly the same on the 4100NEX Kieth. It took me a few tries to figure out the right area to push. Might take up to 15 seconds. Just try again. Should work on all NEX. This is coming from a Pioneer engineer sir. Try again

OK, I will try again but I have googled this and read that it only works on the AVIC....NEX units. the 4100 is an AVH....NEX. I believe the difference is the AVH does not have built in GPS. Not sure why it makes a difference but I'm not alone. Otheres have confirmed this bypass does not work on AVH units.

Put in a usb hub and some braided cables under the cup holder. Gonna drop in a 250gb drive with music and movies next.

Very nice... Yea I have a 500GB Drive in glove box full of movies, but usually just hook up my iPod.

The HU is decent.. I'd be mad if I paid over $800 for this thing. Cables r crap, controls are average at best, and it has some quirks for sure. I do like it tho

I purchased the nex 8100 for my 15 tacoma non jbl. What steering wheel controls should I purchase to retain everything; Crux SWRTY-61N Wiring Interface from crutchfield or metra axxess aswc-1 universal steering wheel control interface?

Also is it possible to find this except in hdmi and usb port?
