I have read up on the install on this page.

    http://www.expeditionswest.com/equip...rb_bumper.html

But I will be installing on a 98. Will there be any difference? I already have removed the front bumper, cruch cans and tow hooks. After reading these directions, do I need to remove the front cross memeber that the skid plates bolts to? For some reason I am thinking my 98 is different than the 01-04?

Just installed one of these a couple months ago. parksoffroad was a good guide and helped a lot. Be sure to check all of the hardware (nuts, bolts, washers etc.) use the inventory listed in the poorly written istructions to confirm its all there (dont be thrown off by the sealed bags). I had to call ARB on two seperate occasions to get hardware that was missing from the sealed hardware packages. It is a lot of hardware to go through but had I taken the time to do it in the beginning it would have saved two full days on the install (waiting for the hardware). This is definately worth your time. As mentioned prior the instructions are terrible!! so find as much info and archive it for reference. Its a quality product and I am certain you will be happy with it. Good Luck..

Got it on last night. Lots of bolts/nuts/washers left. Did not install winch on it right now. Did not need to use the new crossmember piece with the frame ends though. Didn't really take too long to install, just had to drill one hole on each side per the instructions.

I haven't hooked up the blinkers yet, is there a plug I can buy to connect to factory plug? Or do I just need to cut factory end off and wire into factory wires? Anyone remember which is poitive and negative on the factory wires?

    Double Take,
ARB should have sent you a small harness to connect your vehicle harness to the blinkers. You just cut the factory wires and splice the ARB connectors into the blinker harness. I used a meter to verify which was the vehicle hot wire. Hope this helps if ARB did not send them with your bumper you can call them and they are good about getting you the parts without issue. If you dont want to wait auto parts stores carry 2 wire + and - connectors.

The instructions ARB gives you are terrible. I had better luck looking at Parks and Exped West as others mentioned. Looks good!
