Frame recall - I'm in Southern Indiana and was advised in early May my frame would be replaced. I finally found the whole this week, its about 1 x 3 inches, right next to the cat. converter on the drivers side. This seems to be a common spot, so I assume the extra heat and evaporation has something to do with this. Has anyone had issues with them breaking the struts or exhaust? If so are they cover the replacement cost?

Rear leaf springs - Mine are to be replaced, but I was also told they would probably not be replaced until they did the frame.

AC leak - the compressors are known to go bad/leak. I got lucky last year when I bought my truck and the service tech (bought the truck from Cadillac of Louisville) noticed the AC wasn't very cold. They put in a new schrader valve, went out and was replaced a week later. A week after that they replaced the entire AC system at their cost.

The replacement was not the recall either. They said once Toyota informed them of what to do for the recall, I would be notified and have to bring the truck back in.

I assume it is the old design. I had the 4 leaf pack and they put the same 4 leaf pack on. If the new design is the recall replacement then I would still need to have that done when the parts are available.

Had mine replaced yesterday. 100 days from when I brought it in when one broke till they got replaced. Got the 4 leaf pack. Not sure if they're the recall ones or just replacements in the meantime?

Is the 4 leaf an upgrade option that the dealers offer? I have 3 leaf on my OR.
    Just wondering.
    Thanks.

Dunno. It is what I ended up with. They didn't ask beforehand. Don't know the difference between 3 or 4. I had 3 before the repair.
