I am more familiar with the price and what to expect for v6 tacomas, so i would appreciate some guidance.
The guys selling it had it for 5 years or so, and let his kid borrow it for "a while."
    $4,500
    173,000 miles

    replaced rear springs
    tires are about 50%
    newer tacoma powder coated wheels
not sure when timing chain was replaced
portions of it have been repainted, possibly rear ended
dented rocker panel due to front tire blow out

Good price? should i jump at it?

"Selling my extended cab truck, it's a very reliable dailey driver 4wheel drive and has a 2.7 4cyl. With a 5 speed manual transmission. Runs and drives good and everything is in good working order but the ac is not. Every thing is there. It has a good solid body and frame. Doesn't leak and has been serviced regular. However its not perfect. It has minor dings, scratches, and paint blemishes. Its a great truck I just need something bigger for work. Please text or call for more information.i prefer text as I'm at work a lot thank you."

Looks like a good deal to me. I paid 6k here in NM for something pretty similar but a 2000 back in February
