When I first got on here I noticed there was a group looking for pics of 285 tires on stock wheels. They weren't only looking for pictures but also wondering if the tire was to big for the wheel. I recently put on Duratrac 285/75r16 tires on my 16x7 stock Toyota Rally Wheels. Looks great, drives great! I have a 2.5 inch suspension lift and had to use a quarter inch spacer. I have no rubbing and got to keep my mud flaps. I think the next step is to match tint the front windows with the back and add a black mesh grill.

That's crazy that you aren't rubbing your front mudflaps...I have a 3" lift with the same tires (different wheels) and mine rubbed so bad they had to go. Lucky you! Good lookin truck!

    3" lift w/ 5100's, 887s, AAL. 275/70/18's Hankook ATm 18x9 XD Monsters
quarter inch or 1.25 inch spacer? I have the same rims and I honestly love them. I want to go to 285s but fear massive trimming and i'll be running 3" lift with 887s and 5100s. I'm probably going to go with 18's and run a 275/70/18 to have a true 33 if this venture doesn't work out for me. Thanks for the pics and post.

I just posted pictures of the trimming required for the same exact lift with 285/75/16 duratracs on wheels with 4.5 backspace, not too much. Pics here...
