I like Inferno a lot. I love Radiant Red even more. I know they're similar colors on the spectrum, but the tundra still has radiant red as well as the inferno with the pro. I do know I will not get another black tacoma.

The base model SR has a 4 cylinder and the V6 manuals get the 6 speed.

Sure , but I fail to see how Toyota is moving away from what a Tacoma should be because they offer a long bed version of the Offroad

7GR is the engine code for the V6 in this document. 2TR is the engine code for the 4 cylinder engine.

At this point no one knows for sure the difference between the sport and the off road for 2016 models since toyota hasn't said shit. However on the existing 2015 tacomas, the main functional difference between the sport and offroad is that the OR has the electronic rear locker and ATRAC (4-LO traction control). I would expect these differences to remain on the 2016 models, plus the off road will have crawl control while the sport probably won't.

The other differences between the trims are cosmetic. The sport has the hood scoop, 17" rims, and various color matched trim pieces. The sport also supposedly has a stiffer anti-sway bar.

I've been working with a local Toyota dealer to order my first new Tacoma. This afternoon I stopped by and they gave me a sheet that had all the options for the different trim levels. On the TRD off road premium package it has heated front seats. Does this mean leather or are cloth heated seats possible. They told me allocation would be in 2 to 3 weeks. I'm not sure how all this works since this will be my first new vehicle. Trading for my 22 year old ford ranger I've had for 17 years.

Why would you turn on heated seats if it's isn't cold. That's dumb.

Looks like I'm in for a 2016. Just called three dealerships in my area over the last week and there isn't a 2015 DCSB O/R within 300 miles of me and all build/orders have been closed out for at least two weeks now.

Yep, same here in so cal (unless that's where you're at). Was kinda thinking on the '15 DCSB for a second since I know it'll barely fit in my garage (and the '16 might be a few inches longer) so now I guess I'm all in for the '16 too. It's great news though that the '15 supply is dwindling.
