    Hey Sikk,
I know out in the eastern part of the state they have done some, but not sure if the wild west has had any.

We gotta do a Wild west meet or something.
There are quite a few people here.
Even if it is just a beer meet or whatever.
I have some sliders coming in from SOS and have asked a central Mass. member to maybe come out.
Would be cool to meet people, I think.

i'd be game. Hey, you know the road behind woods pond in lenox that goes along the river and comes out by east new lenox road? It always has a "road closed" sign, but i always see people on it. Is that road wide open the whole length? Or does branches etc scrape your vehicle on it? if so, im not driving it haha

Yeah, Oct. Mtn area right? Yeah, I was driving that a bit from Lee back home from getting my son just for kicks. I am sure it is pretty grown in now.
My son and I tried to get in there when there was quite a bit of snow on the ground. I turned around thinking I'd better not with him in the truck.

a western mass tacoma get together would be fun a pedrins! Thats a nice drive-in type of place. yes, its called roaring brook road on the east new lenox side, and woodland road on the lee/woods pond side. Ill check it out in my dads dodge dakota first( its old, he dont give a damn). I like testing/using the trucks capabilities. This past winter i was constantly going up into that abandoned parking lot off east street near the train tracks just to bury myself in the snow, only to have the truck pull itself out. I actually TRIED to get stuck a few times, worst i ever did took me 3 mins to get out with RR diff lock haha

Yeah, that would be a great place to meet.
I try to do that with the truck too, get it into situations to see how it does.
With my '01 I went into the Monroe area and followed some real rugged shit road all the way into VT. Looking back, I was totally unprepared but the truck went like a champ. Was fun to explore up there and not know where the hell I was.

Just before I snapped that 4 toyotas in a row pic yesterday, I saw a car broken down in the middle of elm street. The funny thing was, it must have been during a test drive. The car still had the dealer sticker paperwork on the window, and I watched the passenger (salesman) get out and look at the car. I should have yelled to the driver "bet your not buying that one!"Corner of west housy and south in your pic. Damn I know this area too well. yeah I see parades of military vehicles around here sometimes. I think they are going to and from westover air base. unless thats a personal vehicle???

    That would have been great.
Yeah, you got that one too. :D
    It's like a game of "where's Waldo".
Yeah, I think this one was a personal rig.

@skiergd011013 How's the superwash holding up?

    Whitney Place Rd.?

It's passable with a stock 4x4 Tacoma. At least I think it is all the way through. I've done most of it from either end. It's really not bad, just rocky and rutted. It's really long, though.

Up to the reservoir from East New Lenox Rd. is easy. Just a dirt road. Past that it gets progressively worse. I have always turned around eventually because it's long enough where I get sick of beating on my truck. Don't recall ever needing 4WD on that road--it's not all that bad--just need clearance.

Ashley Lake Rd. is bad, though. I drove through it but a DCLB with tube steps is tough through there because you hit in the center a lot. I don't know now that it's lifted slightly. I won't do that again. I was hitting the point where I was a little concerned because there was no way I was going to be able turn around there, didn't know how much worse it got, and had already gone way too far to back up.

Lots of places like that around here--particularly in the hill towns.

EDIT: Now that I re-read, I'm not sure we are talking about the same road.

I'm going to assume your tonneaus are for a 5 ft bed? I love my Extang Trifecta, but it is getting a little beat up. I have a long bed, though.

Looks like a whole bunch of dirt roads around there on Google earth. Hard to tell what condition they are in though
