When did you post that? Someone posted it a few hours ago and I picked it up. And someone else said they found it the other day at a dealership.

    April 8th.

There is a newer version from Toyota USA as well, but it still has the error in it.

I appreciate you sharing the information you come across. We are in a weird time when lots of people are looking for information but there isn't a central source to get it. So old info gets passed around like herpes. Once toyota releases the brochures and technical documents it should get cleared up. And all these threads full of stupid arguments will fade into obscurity, where they belong.

The 2014 Tacoma and that lexus this motor is in are within 200lbs. The new tacoma is supposed to be quite a bit lighter. The taco and the lexus obviously have wildly different drag coefficients, but at sub 45mph, drag doesn't matter - why wouldn't the taco get the same city mpg. Everyone here keeps saying they expect mileage to be around 19 city 23 highway. Maybe I'm a dreamer, but given what's been said so far by toyota, I'm going to be very disappointed if it gets less than 24mpg city

My system shows that this configuration will exist in the U.S. at least. 6AT only, of course.

I will check when I get a chance. The list posted before was USA-only, and often the same configurations don't exist in Canada (for example we couldn't get DCSB 6AT here ever, but it is quite common in the USA). Just because the factory can build it doesn't mean the distributor (Toyota Canada) will actually order it.

A DCLB Offroad would make sense for Canada you would think

I just checked, and in Canada at least, the TRD Off Road is only available on the Access Cab.

That is as of now, but I doubt it will change before launch.

Double cab is available in 6MT TRD Sport (SB), 6AT SR5 (LB), 6AT TRD Sport (LB) and 6AT Limited (LB).

Multi-Terrain Select and Crawl Control are only available on the Access-Cab TRD Off-Road 6AT. A-TRAC is listed for all Access-Cab TRD Off-Road models (6AT and 6MT).

Also interesting, the 6MT does not come with smart key on any grade level, even though equivalent automatics do get it (TRD Off-Road, TRD Sport).

That is old (April). The newer version has Tundra models listed below the Sequoia ones and says tentative as of June. It still (incorrectly) lists the 7GR though, as the Tacoma section wasn't updated.

I wonder if that will piss off people considering how well the double cab sells. I'm sure many people don't care about crawl control but some might. Doesn't matter to me as the access cab OR is what I plan on getting.

To be clear, he's talking about Canadian models. Apparently the DCSB TRD-OR is not available in Canada. I think what hes getting at in that post is that if you get a TRD-OR with the manual then you don't get crawl control, terrain select, or the smart key.

OK, yes, can't have a manual with crawl control, I knew that. Didn't catch the reference to Canadian models.

In Canada, currently the DCSB 4x4 is only available with a manual transmission and the DCLB 4x4 is only available with an automatic. Will Toyota Canada offer the short wheelbase with auto and the long wheelbase with manual to compete with GM's more varied choices? I doubt it.
