Gotta thank you @iseeredandyellow for the secure escort on that TDS trip and lending me your spare.
This will be a busy week and should be back in business soon.

@YumaTRD yup got the truck running, shocks back in, driveshaft back in, limit straps in place. Just really need to clean up electrical, finish my bed tray, few little things, and I can start testing it out locally.

Still waiting for parts to complete my rear shock setup. Final parts should be in this week.
In the mean time, I had Saturday off so I decide to fab up some sliders.
Took me 8 hours from start to finish. I like the like and finish. It matches the look of the bed.

Overall cost is ~$100 with paint

Tested both sides with the truck weight on them and welds held up

Installed a rear locker. Bought a complete third member.
Looks like I had 4.37 gear ratio and the new third is a 4.10.

I'll be testing it out this weekend. I had to swap the locker into my original 3rd member since I didnt know my truck has 4.37 gears front and rear.
Truck was noticabley slow with the 4.10 in the rear. liked to stall easily in low RPMs.

Nice! Yeah mine came with 4.556 gears stock, and I'd hate to go down if I couldn't help it. How was swapping in the locker? The third doesn't look too different from mine so hopefully all went smoothly!

It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. I drove the truck around but still need to do more testing before im sure I installed everything right.
The V6 third members look so much easier to do since you don't have to remove the gear ring.

Right on! My neighbor said that I would hear grinding going around corners if I did something wrong, so I'm sure you're fine.
What do you mean? Remove it from the diff to install the locker? I did have to do that but I installed an arb locker so it might be different from yours. I also replaced all the bearings while I was in there, and some of those were much more of a pain than the ring gear was!
