Clear coat sliders?

    Rancho RS66903R7 @2.5", 2x4 block in rear. strait pipe, 37" super swampers
    Anyone just clean the sliders up and paint them with a clear coat for a natural metal finish look? Was thinking about trying it after going over them with a 3M disk on my die grinder and cleaning them.

    go for it! worst case you dont like it.... a flapper disk to take it back down to metal and paint. no biggie.

    There are specific products to have a bare metal finish, all still require maintenance several times a year.

    I'd do a bit more research, try Googling "bare metal car finish" and see what all is involved.

    I think it could look pretty cool if you put some time into scuffing them to give them a grain look
