thanks much. I just opened er up. of all the owner completed jobs... ha you'd think they coulda engineered it so you didn't have to remove the washer fluid tank and the battery.

Yeah it's a seemingly unnecessary pain in the ass, but depending on how much you want to get scratched up you can do it without removal.

I installed mine in the parking lot of the Walmart that I bought the bulbs from 5 minutes before. Took me about 20 minutes though. Lol

haha yeah my wheels were spinning as I was looking it over. thinking "ok, how the F can I do this without removing the battery and the fluid tank"? my can-do attitude will likely result in a couple skinned knuckles followed by removal of the battery and fluid tank. I'll certainly value the bulbs over my knuckles.

Hopefully my apparent good luck with Sylvania rubs off on yours. ;)

I went and compared stock bulbs to the bulbs in the package at the auto shop and it looks like stock bulbs are at minimum the sylvania Xtravisions. both are labeled "osram". the sylvania basics had a plastic bases on them. once you get to the Xtravisions they have metal bases.
