Greetings everyone. I bought my first truck a few weeks back and have been lurking around the forums until the first mods I wanted were installed. My previous vehicle was a 2006 Toyota Yaris RS, black, auto, 3-door hatchback, 205000km. The only thing I ever customized about it was blacking out the badges. Purchased new in late 2005.

My growing need for a truck, especially at the cottage, started my truck search. While I was at the local Toyota dealer getting a transmission leak looked at I spotted my Tacoma on the lot.

2014 (new) white Tacoma, 4x2 2.7L auto, access cab, convenience package. They had a great sticker price and after some haggling I sealed the deal. Tinted windows, paint protection, 3M hood shield, 160000km warranty, etc.

4x4 would have been ideal but this is still a significant size and tech improvement for me. The Yaris had no cruise control, was a pain to haul stuff around in, and didn't even have an AUX input. It's already been put to great use making runs to the dump and hauling lumber.

    On to the fun stuff!
    - ReadyLift 2.75/1.75 levelling kit
    - BlackRock 937 17x8 black steel rims
    - Hercules 245/70/17 TerraTrac ATII tires
    - WeatherTech DigitalFit front mats
    - CravenSpeed stubby antenna
    - black dipped front emblem, removed all other badges

    Still to (eventually) come:
    - dark tint WeatherTech window deflectors (front pair only)
    - Pop n' Lock tailgate lock (DIY clamp for now)
    - Line-X'd rock sliders
    - blacked LED headlights/taillights
    - tonneau cover, rolling or tri-fold

Cheers! The info I've been reading here over the last month has been very helpful.
