I think he has a facebook page. You should go on their and comment to the poor service and poor quality of the lights. Warn others. I was thinking about getting these but if one out of these ten has this issue im OUT. It's a matter of time for the rest. You get what you pay for and sometimes it's just not good to go with cheap china crap. You will probably have to go through 2 or 3 of these light in the life time of one Rigid. Rigid is an American made product.

    Here is his page

I was out of the country for a while and couldn't log in. Just sent a pm to Andrew regarding his issue. This are good quality light bars but sometimes there is a deffective one. Im sure everyone else is happy with their product. Also Navar saw your post on the page, not sure why are you giving a bad name? This are quality products and Andrew is getting his issue fixed.

It's called silence. He thought you took his money and ran. Communication is paramount. Pretty simple math actually.

Ok guys if the product is defective then Luis from SLX will take care of it, he didnt make the light bars personally, he just sells them so give the man a break. I don't own or run a business myself but I know people that do and it is far from easy, or else everyone would do it. Luis has good customer service just give him some time

As awesome as Brycefasteners are, we went that route already. They only offer a $100 minimum order, and don't offer anything in the correct size bolt for the light bar

Along with having to shave a bunch of the passenger side mount to get it to fit properly. Did get the weather stripping to work with it though which is nice.

Mine didn't either, ran down to the hardware store and picked up washers and Lock washers for that gap

Got mine mounted up, waiting on nightfall to take care of the aiming/potential whistling

Might. I eyeballed it, should be "fine". I'll check on it here shortly and then I'll adjust accordingly.

Funny enough I bought one of these off another guy several months ago. I know it's the same bar because the mounts/LED looks EXACTLY the same. Anyways mines made a terrible whistling noise from 15 mph right on up. I tried everything from sealing the fins to changing the aim of the light bar, nothing fixed it. I ended up shoving a couple of layers of high end rubber weather stripping under the bar, which finally shut it up, and ever since the thing has been good to me. The quality of the light is fine and have no condensation after several water crossings and rainy days. I paid such a low value for it I don't even want to say it but mine had held up through a few adventures so far with no issues.

As for the guys commenting about Rigids, come on. Of course this isn't a Rigid. Then again it's not $1600 either. Make sense? This is a good light and a good value, that in my experience, has held up fine. When the LED does go out I'll bite the bullet and go rigid. For this sort of money a couple of years of use is all I was looking for anyways and the brackets are almost worth what OP is asking for the whole deal.
