Why are you missing a camper shell window? Do you just have some wood mounted in side? I Looks sorta cool with the gas cans tucked inside

I removed my windows and made a fiberglass box to hold my Rotopax cans. I made it specifically to tuck the cans inside. I had them mounted outside but there was wind drag on the highway and got caught on things off-road.

Finally, installed on the lift with the cover. Took me the entire weekend to set it up.

Got my relentless bars and tepui tent on! Thanks again boxrocket for an easy, smooth buying experience. The guys at tepui were super helpful in showing my wife how it all works and mounting it for her. I unfortunately couldn't get off work to go pick it up my self down at the tepui wharehouse in soquel.

The thing is easier to set up and more comfortable than I even expected.
I opted for the blue which it seems not many do. It's a bit darker in person than I expedted. Definitely a welcome surprise. Really like the color combo of the blue and gray rain fly.
Very happy with it so far. Can't wait to break it in on a few up coming trips this summer.

    Now on to my question.
Any body lock these things up? I'm trying to think
Of a clever way to lock the tent on the bed bars, just for an added deturent factor to anyone scoping the set up. I know if someone really wants it, they'll just take the bars with the tent. But something for added piece of mind may be nice considering mine isn't as high as most and seems a bit easier to steal being over the bed.
Doesn't seem like many of these get jacked off trucks, but you never know. Thanks guys.

Here's some pics of the setup

@rsxftw Left-hand thread bolts (lefty-tighty, righty-loosey). A friend does this with wheel studs on his 1 ton Dodge due to $6k worth of rubber & aluminum

Wow, great idea! Didn't even think of that at all. I'll definitely look into. Wonder if they sell those at Home Depot. Have to check. That'll definitely throw someone off

My CVT Mt. Rainier was delivered the other day, just waiting on my Relentless Fabrication bed bars to arrive! I like the idea of using Harbor Freight hoist for mounting/storage, might have to put the father-in-law to make it happen!

DoorDing, looks awesome and clean. Is that one of the harborfreight hoist? Thought about using that, but have heard the electric part fail every now and then.

Retiring the Kukenam XL Ruggedized RTT till it gets a little cooler. Removed this beast by myself. I pulled it out and leaned it down onto the edge of the tailgate and let it slide easily onto my dolly. Then dolly it into the spare room. Wasn't to difficult. Now, getting this beast back up on the bedrack....... I think i'm going to ask for a little help... along with a few beers with friends to get it back up there.......

    Went from this setup............

    To this set up today.

Basket Kit installed on Bedrack. Fits Toyo 285/70R17 perfectly.

It's easy to get it back up there. Tilt it from the dolly to the gate then lift it back up. I do it all the time and it's pretty easy to do by yourself.
