Just bought a new 2010 Tacoma regular cab 4x4, and really liking it so far. I am looking to get ideas from the forum to make upgrades, and the first is getting a quality bench seat cover and molded carpet. Not too many seat covers around other than Kaloa if I spelled it correctly. Any other ideas? I'll try to post some pictures soon.

I have a 2012 Super White Tacoma TRD Off-Road Double Cab Short bed. Bought it in July 2012 and have loved it everyday. I haven't done any mods or upgrades to it as I have just been too busy with life to do anything. This month I plan on switching out the interior lights to cool white LED bulbs and also adding some LED fog lights into the cubbys in the bed for bed lights. I do own the Guide Gear truck tent and Truckbedz Air matress. I use them for camping and when going to weekend festivals.

New to TW! Upgraded from a Mazda and purchased a 2015 Tacoma SR5 DCLB about 2 months ago and have been loving the posts of the various builds and mods. Hoping to put a 3"lift and a nice set of wheels/tires on by the end of the year.

A few pics after a morning of washing and waxing(Liquid Glass). I have plasti dipped the badges and stock wheels until I upgrade. I have read on TW that it is easy to remove badges completely thinking about doing that. The only thing I have on the truck thus far is a TonnoPro Trifold cover and AVS window visors/

Had a brand new Mazda and then realized I missed driving manual transmission and being in a truck so I turned it in early and bought this 06 Tacoma. Couldn't be happier with that decision. So far just got some new all terrain tires, plasti dipped the stock wheels and tinted the windows 5%.

New to TW and Toyota. My last truck (Nissan Titan) started having too many problems. Just bought a new winch and bumper and hoping to get them installed soon.

Cheers to the forum! I believe it is time for me to saddle up and buy a new truck. Well actually my first "new" truck. I have had a used '92 4Runner since 1997 and have beaten the literal sh*t out of it. The interior back-end has pretended to be a truck-bed for far too long and the poor 3.0L is struggling these days. With over 220K and constant loss of power, I need something that can actually get over Hwy 80 without dropping into 3rd gear and pass a trucker without actual seeing his facial details...the awkward stare at 45-50 mph is super uncomfortable to be honest. Feel free to let me know of my best options...gonna make a Tacoma purchase by labor day to get the deals! Thanks

Not exactly sure when I joined the forum and completely forgot I did. I bought a 2013 Tacoma Double Cab PreRunner SR5 in January 2015 and some jack@$$, driving a Dodge 3500 with a full trailer, rear ended me at the end of May. It's not totaled, thankfully! I'm hoping I get my baby back by the 10 of this month! I've been without it for almost a month! I HATE driving this stupid rental CAR!!!! I never want to go back to driving a car EVER!!!! I'm super thankful that I was driving my truck when the jerk hit me, it saved me and my daughter from serious injury. I traded in a Nissan Juke for the Tacoma. If we had been in the Juke at the time, the car would have been totaled and my daughter and I would have had WAY worse injuries. We walked away with bruises and soreness.

    Took mud flaps off.
Ok I hate doing the noobie post but I have to start somewhereI guess. Lol I just purchased a 2015 Toyota TacomaTRD off road edition. First Toyota truck I have ever owed. Ex husband and my parents have owned them. My fiance has 2 old school yota's. I was alwaysa jeep girl (sorry).

Anyways, I love the new truck and we did some research before buying it. Now we plan on doing a few mods to it. Nothing to serious just a small lift, aftermarket wheels, and some sort of cover for the bed so luggage/groceries stay where they should. I don't plan on beating it up. We still have 2 yota's and and jeep. Besides rzr are a blast too! I guess that's it.

Hello all. I bought my 2006 Toyota Tacoma TRD Sport double cab when it had 6 miles on the odometer. Been driving it ever since. Haven't done any major mods yet but will be doing the Bixenon conversion soon.

Brand new to this. Got my 2015 Tacoma YESTERDAY! Brand new double cab long bed v6 4X4 TRD. After tags taxes and title it was 32,900. I felt I got a good deal. What do you guys think? I couldn't be happier. Everywhere I looked I couldn't find a long bed TRD for under 34,000 even before taxes tags and title. image.jpg

Just brought home my first new vehicle on Friday, a 2015 DCSB TRD Off-Road in MGM! Wanted to grab the last year model, who knows what the '16+ will be like besides ugly IMHO, and wanted all the aftermarket parts availability of the 2nd Gen. Best oil filter placement ever! Love it, I've wanted a Tacoma forever, but picked up a 1997 4Runner from my Dad back in 2001, and the thing just keeps chugging along, 217k on the clock and has needed nothing but maintenance and an alternator. Valve covers are starting to leak a bit, but otherwise it's still good.

    First mods will be:
    Husky Liners
    Access Cover
    Black out the badges
    LED Driving Lights
Trim the mudflaps, at least the front ones,
and gotta get some protection for that damn exhaust crossover, crawled under it today and can't believe they routed that so low, the whole truck seems a little lower than my old 4Runner.

Sup everyone! Just signed up. I've had my Tacoma for about 2 months and it was my first vehicle ever! I love my truck and I can't wait to add some new engine mods to increase hp! I've heard that Toyotas are reliable and dependable so I hope what I've heard is true.

Guess I'll keep this longest-ever post going, as well!

I'm a long-time lurker (since 2004) and finally decided to join up after adding another Tacoma to the family. There's great info on here, and maybe I can contribute some.

    Cheers!

I've been looking at Tacoma's for over a year and been getting info from Tacoma World for several months. I decided to grab a 2015 with the great deals going on right now. I picked up my first Tacoma yesterday - 2015 DCSB TRD OR 4x4 - Pyrite Mica. Was lucky enough to find a Pyrite Mica with all the options I wanted. It also has the JBL Entune system. I wasn't looking for one with that, but its a plus.

Glad to be a Taco member!
