Here is my playground. Still got a few days before I can go out and play. Under house arrest until my knee heals up a bit more.

Unfortunately the Taco has to be parked outside.

That's a pretty valid reason for the Taco to be outside.

Awesome and good luck! Considering the application processes to become a peace officer and to adopt two children...escrow was the most stressful thing I've ever done in my life. Glad it's over. I hope to never do that process again.

Seriously. Did it in February and so many documents were needed. Literally every source of income/accounts for the like three month process.

I'm hoping it's not that complicated for me. I only have one source of income one checking account and two credit cards both with a zero balance on them and that's it. They already have all those documents so I hope is smooth sailing from here. I know it probably won't be because nothing can ever be simple. It has been stressful so far.

I hate all those home buying shows on HGTV. They make it seem like the hardest part is finding the right house when in reality the hardest part is finding the right broker/mortgage company. Quicken Loans was the biggest turd I've ever dealt with. I will always recommend people find a reputable local broker.

Definitely agree....we went through USDA (ruralish community) for financing who in turn sold to Wells Fargo. I would of much preferred to use our local credit union for everything, but the interest rates were ridiculous through that program. I cant count how many asprins I had to take

Never use an online lender. That way lies madness. 2 years taxes, 3 month pay stubs and any bank accounts. Pretty much it. They'll verify employment at the beginning and again at the end. There have been a couple hundred new requirements on lenders in the last couple years, your lender is frazzled for a reason.

Try using usaa if you want real headaches. Of the top of my head 90% of my clients get rid of them before closing for good reasons. Wells Fargo is also at the top of my don't use list. You want somewhere that has local underwriting, it is so much easier.
