Okay sweet, and damn is it that bad? I've got the 884s calling your name, they're sitting in my garage right now, and do you think that my stock leaf packs are different than yours? Just in case those would help improve your ride too, and don't worry I'm not trying to sell you all my crap lol just trying to help out with parts in case you need them. My stock leaf packs do have a Deaver AAL in them.

 

haha I mean I only have like 1 inch of travel left, so its kinda bad, but its no big deal. The rear should be the same as yours, my rear springs are fine.

notice you have a chrome bumper, I have a black OEM bumper if you need to get rid of that mirror in the back

 

Hmmmm I do want a black bumper in the rear... I was gonna hold off on the pelfrey for a while, so I may have to take you up on that (I hate chrome)... got any pics of it?

 

ill send you a picture tomorrow, but it is black, and missing the license plate light cause I needed them for my new bumper, but you have them on your current one so shouldn't be that big of a deal

 

Okay awesome, I'm in the process of trying to de-chrome it right now, just plasti-dipped the badges today and I'm trying to get a color matched grille.

 

yeah, chrome is annoying, idk why people like it, everytime I see giant chrome "off-road" rims it makes me cringe

 

lol part of the reason I ditched the fuel "off road wheels", they were black but they had hints of a flashy silver which I got tired of pretty quick, not making that mistake again, I love these methods

 

Truck looks great; I've been looking into the same suspension set up. About how much lift did you get with the 887s and dakars. Cooper tires look great I am currently running the nittos but will need new shoes soon so it was nice to see a pic.

I got about 3.5" in the rear and 3" in the front, that's fine by me though because I'll have a lot of weight in the bed with an RTT in the future as well as a steel plate bumper and spare tire in the bed. And the Coopers are amazing. I had trail Grapplers on before and they were so loud, the Coopers are almost silent compared to them and it's awesome! I don't know how they do it because they both have a really aggressive tread.

For those wondering my 285/75/16 Cooper ST Maxx didn't rub at all during this trip, I'm sure in a few instances they might've if I turned more (for example at full stuff) but besides that, no rubbing at all, the cab mount chop works wonders! Those considering 285s I say if you're going to do it get the CMC and pinch weld done before you even mount the tires (unless it's a pavement princess), I have no fitment issues at all and they really fill up the wheel well nicely. Also the extra width is nice when going over small potholes, you don't even feel them because the tire covers more ground. I'd recommend a 16x8 wheel with a 4.5" backspacing if possible. These clear the caliper and don't rub the UCAs either (at least with aftermarket)
