Sounds like fun. Spend the extra few bucks on a set of Dakars and you will get an incredible ride compared to an AAL. Way more capable too when you start throwing some carcasses in the back.

Traded the 2015 TRD Pro 6spd Supercharged on a PowerWagon and could not be happier. My 2011 Tacoma with the TX Baja package (Added by me) is still treating me great. My 1985 Toyota never skips a beat.
It rained and my phone was dead so this is the only pic I got while changing leaves.20150703_140408.jpg

I couldn't believe how rusted the wheelers leaves got in a month. They were more rusted than the stock leaves if you can believe that..

After a short test drive it rides better than with the 3 leaf wheelers. And it sits taller.

More of what I wanted and am used to!

I thought it was stiffer.. or at least I remembered it that way. As far as load carrying it is, it doesn't sag as easily. But the shock from small bumps is smoother than it was with the wheelers 3 leaf.

No idea what the spring rate actually is..

Standing (im right at 200 lbs) on the leaf by itself it bends a little less than an inch. Standing on the main leaf from the wheeler's 3 it bends quite a bit more than an inch. Whatever that means.

This is my ideal dream truck!

But since I am happily stuck with 2 kids I needed a doublecab more than my personal best fit if the access cab.

    Nice truck!

Ok you convinced me to just sell my AAL and go with new parts keeping the OEM shocks/ front spings.

Can you tell me, since you have like 9 different posts with different setups, which set are you using in this photo?

On another note... Toyota ordered me the wrong shock (apparently the '13 TX Baja doesnt show on the VIN, its just a package addition.) So it didnt fit when the tech tried to put it on lol. They said it should be in this week sometime...

4 weeks now I haven't been able to drive my truck (could but I have back problems and the shock killed me) and 1 week of it being at Toyota.

Dealer said "we'll do whatever we can to make this right for you"

I get bored and like to work on things :)

Currently I have a "topgun customs" 2 inch single long add a leaf from ebay.

Check out this item I found on eBay: http://pages.ebay.com/motors/link/?nav=item.view&id=251002528912&alt=web
In the front I have 3/4 poly isolator replacement from wheelers, swaybar removed.

For the Baja it was a package sponsored by Toyota and they sent a TRD offroad where everything was added. The PRO they addopted it as an official model package.

Sucks man hope they get it figured out soon for you!

Yea but whats so frustrating is I asked multiple times if they ordered the shock that matched my package vs my VIN and they said "yes, we ordered you the correct shock for your vin"

And on another note... I kind of want to change my TX sticker to the pro sticker. People keep asking if Im from Texas lol

Nice.....spray them with fluid film. They will stay looking that clean!!!!! I cleaned mine up with a abrasive scrub pad and wd40. Then I hit them with fluid film. It's been more than a couple weeks and they look great.
