    Stick welding is pretty damn easy. If you color between the lines then you can stick weld. Just have the right protection before starting. I've burnt my eyes and caught on fire too many times.

    second the protection, a good leather welding jacket and glove and a auto dimming mask (they can be had for pretty cheap these days)
