Traded the 2015 TRD Pro 6spd Supercharged on a PowerWagon and could not be happier. My 2011 Tacoma with the TX Baja package (Added by me) is still treating me great. My 1985 Toyota never skips a beat.
    Congrats guys!

A quick question... Does anyone know what generation Eaton Supercharger these are? Are they the gen 3? Gen 5?

Stopped by the dealer today to negotiate new tire install for tomorrow to go along with the supercharger install. When they pushed back, I pushed back harder saying I was spending a ridiculous amount of money at their dealer for the supercharger, fit kit, and install. The least they could do was match my desired price on tires. To which the parts guy asked if I was the lucky one purchasing one of their last supercharger setups. He didn't know I had already bought the supercharger and kit a while back. I found out dealers are pulling the chargers and fit kits out of Toyota's inventory system, and keeping them 'off line' in local inventory. According to them this prevents out of state buyers attempting to buy the stuff and ship it elsewhere for install, so whenever someone calls they say they don't have them in stock, when in fact they do. When I inquired what they planned to do with their remaining stock, the reply was 'we have not yet decided'.

I don't know how many are doing this, or if any others are, but I'd guess you get further with an in person visit than over the phone. Just thought I would share for anyone still looking. The entire thing is getting beyond ridiculous when dealers are hiding inventory from paying customers.

Well, just means they're gonna hike the price up in a year or something. So that just means all those people sitting on their hands debating on buying better do that shit NOW.

That or in a year the old Toyota Tacomas will be old news except to the community and, much like the first gens, a bunch of these S/C's will end up in storage somewhere for someone to find a deal on in 5 years.

This really makes me glad I pulled the trigger on my S/C 20k miles ago. This seems to be getting crazy.

Toyota generally doesn't play those tactics. .

    Except with the Baja package...

They are learning bad habits from the "big 3"

Really it should be Toyota vs Ford vs GM to be fair these days. Ol Chrysler still makes shit.

When did Ford and GM start making quality reliable products with excellent resale value? Did I miss something since yesterday when they didn't?

No, they just put out newer, better looking stuff to interest consumers. That has nothing to do with reliability, quality and resale.

Rofl my Brother in law just sold his jeep he's had for yeaaaarrs and now getting the new mustang. 2015 I think...whatever has the 5.0 in it. I'm like ....ok lol

Reliability has not improved much. Resale still blows. But the look and feel is better.

They have polished shit now instead of plain shit.

Chrysler is selling shit with some bedazzled effects but it still smells and looks like shit.
