I need to get my truck aligned from my recent lift. Toyota will do it for $89 and our buddy told us about a place that will do it for $130. The place that does it for $130 told me they charge more because they can dial it in better than Toyota. Is this statement true or are all alignments the same?

Toyota got my alignment perfect to the numbers I wanted even with LR UCA's

Depends on if you are trying to hit specific numbers or just get " in spec "

" in spec " is a wide range and basically anybody should be able to hit that
