just bought a 2010 tacoma 4x4 regular cab. I want to do a 3" lift on the front but I notice a lot of companies mention that with the regular cab 4 cylinder you need extra weight up front or it will have a rough ride. my question is what coilovers should i go with that i wont have to worry about adding weight to improve ride quality

Look up OME coilovers with 883 or 884 coils on it. Those are designed for a lighter load.
