I work 12+ hours a day and still make time to stare at my truck. Staring doesn't take a whole lot of time out of my day so I add it into the daily routine.

My God, Man!!! I bow down. Unless the guys at the station are doin' the work for you. Still, very impressive.

Is that a Frontrunner Slimline II rack? I want one, do you like it?

When you park your truck and keep looking back, that's how you know you bought the right vehicle.

Are you wet sanding afterwards? You have to get the orange peel out
I did my grille myself and it came out perfect

I'm meticulous by nature. I used to show cars when I was younger and that just kind of stuck. I don't do that every time I wash the truck but I do keep it clean and pressure wash underneath each time. When I change the oil and rotate the tires is when I'll do a full clean job under the truck. One: it allows me to check for any leaks or anything that is out of the ordinary and correct them before it becomes a problem. Two: I just like it clean.

Yes it is a FrontRunner rack and I couldn't be more happy with it. It is a well designed rack with more options to add things to than any other rack that I've found so far. I'm very pleased with it.

303 Aerospace protectant. It's expensive but it is quite honestly the best product I've ever found for protecting plastic, rubber, and it repels dust which helps out keeping the underside of the truck clean.

@RearViewMirror how'd you go about getting your plate bumper color matched?

I took it to my local body shop that I have always used. I considered getting it powder coated but was afraid it wouldn't match and powder coating is much harder to touch up. The guys I use brought out a color swatch and matched it perfectly to the truck and gave me some left over paint for touch up. I don't go mudding or off road in the woods so I'm not so worried about scratching it up. We do however go to Colorado twice a year and do the Alpine Loop (among others) and I bought the bumper for more clearance. It is a Pelfreybilt Aluminum bumper and if you are in the market I highly recommend them. Tyler does amazing work and their customer service is top notch.

Personally, I like it. I am jealous of how clean it is. I wish I could get mine like that. :(

Just going out to the garage to look at my Taco is good therapy after taking care of my wife (who has Dementia) all day . I usually have the hood up too. Just today I was out there and the Camry was a little dirty and the Taco was a little dusty. So I washed the Taco. I will take care of the Camry tomorrow.

What's your process for using it under there? i.e. wash, use soap and sponge, dry, follow up with that, etc. I appreciate the answers. Once I get a nice break in the weather I want to dedicate a day or two to detailing my truck top to bottom.

When I do a complete job under the truck while changing the oil and rotating the tires I spray the stuff starting from the front and work my way back. I use a pad that you use to put wax on and just wipe it until it shines. Powerwashing helps between complete undercarriage cleaning and the 303 repels a lot of dirt and grime so it isn't too bad of a job. That said... When I do it it usually takes me 5-6 hours of laying on my back but that includes changing the oil, lubing the drive shaft, rotating the tires, and changing the rear diff (if needed).

Well that seems easy enough. The pad doesn't get too dirty from the road grime under there? Or do you rinse it out occasionally. How much 303 does it take to do all that? I was thinking of just ordering a gallon of it.

Doesn't take as much as you would think. The stuff goes pretty far. Not too much road grime since I pressure wash it every time it rains so that helps even if I don't wash the truck. This stuff is amazing on the interior and tires. No shine at all. Just clean. I CANNOT stand shiny tires and this stuff makes them look factory. Just black with no greasy residue.
