Yeap. Like Madjik_Man said it was a really bad day to come home from the mountains. But I have run into that same type of thing on 285 on a Sunday that was not a major holiday. It was just the second weekend of July. We now have way too many people in this state and they all want to enjoy the weekends in the mountains.

It's official. Ordered the front LT kit from TC. Time to work on shocks.

Edit: Big thanks to Toytec ( Doug, Miles and Dylan) for helping me out.

Saturday we went to the cherry creek art festival to kill some time. Turn out Toyota was doing test drives on a few vehicles and they were paying 10 bucks to do it as well as had a table full of swag. I got a pair of yota sunglasses and a 4 runner flint fire starter. We made 20 bucks and she got to test drive the rav4 she is looking into... i know I've tried to send her to the fj but she likes the smaller forester, crv, and rav4. Point is if you see toyota doing a driving event you could get paid took maybe 15 minutes

I hiked Quandry Sunday and left the parking lot about 1pm, headed over Hoosier and ate lunch in Fairplay at the bbq joint. While I was leisurely eating I saw an ambulance and fire truck go north on 285. Traffic was creeping through Fairplay when I rolled out around 2:30 or something. After looking at the traffic map I took 9 to 24 to 67 and popped out near Sedalia. I was home by 5:30 or so? Not bad considering and I was moving the whole time save for 5 minutes at the traffic light for 67 in Woodland Park.

    :annoyed:

It's crazy how little jobs pay these days compared to the cost of living on the front range now. I guess if I wasn't renting and bought a house before the surge in prices it wouldn't matter.

    But still, :annoyed:
