Yeah, I know it's an oddball question, but I figured I'd ask. I purchased a nice used 2009 Tacoma 4x4 from a private seller, original owner, clean title, low mileage on the clock. The truck came equipped with a 3" lift. The seller said he had the dealership install the kit prior to picking up the vehicle, but doesn't have any additional info beyond that. I was checking out the suspension and saw that Toytec was installed in the front and rears. Anyone know what lift kit was offered as a factory option back then? Your time and consideration is greatly appreciated.

Pictures of the suspension would probably help, although i think I can see a spacer just from the picture you provided

Yes, it does appear to be a spacer lift. I took photos and will upload them in a few. Sorry. Just new to the whole off-road truck world and trying to get educated.

Might be. Don't know much about them. Doing the Google information gathering right now. The spacers say "Toytec" on them.

It's the one from the link I posted. Get a shot of the rear leaf springs.

I'll try to get a clean shot of the leaf spring tomorrow. Weather is shitty right now. But I think you're right. I should start saving for a new lift kit with quality shocks.

Look into Bilstein 5100s with OME 887 or 885 coils and AAL, it's a bundled kit from headstrong offroad. That's what I have and I love it. Runs around $600 for the kit. One of the best bang for your buck 3 inch kits out there.

Sounds like a good deal. I'll definitely add it to the list of options. The price is right for sure. Was looking at this one as well: Bilstein Adjustable 3" Lift Kit. Thanks, amigo.
