Ordered the airbags for my Pro this weekend. Under $300 with the discounts and code they have running right now. Best price I have seen so thought I'd post it up... http://www.sdtrucksprings.com/

Also Jeggs had the Daystar Cradles for under $70. Both of theses come with free shipping so if you are thinking of adding the Ride Rites grab it while the deal lasts.

Yup! That's exactly where I picked mine up at. They shipped same day too!

    Installed yesterday...

I haven't seen this on other Ride Rite installs, but now they include a mounting plate that zip ties to the square receiver tube. Nicely tucked out of the way of damage.

Just ordered them using the WEEKEND25 code to bring the price down to $294 and change shipped. Thanks for the heads up!

Damn! That is a good deal! Anyone know the difference between the 2410 and 2407 models? I didn't see one right away and they are the same price.

The 2407 are for 4WD and 2WD pre-runner's 6 lug. The 2410 are for the normal 2WD. If you code sale30, you get a better deal.

Had been looking at these and glad I waited - just ordered a pair.

One question I do have is with airing up. Do you try and guess how much psi is required prior to loading, or do you load first and then air up to level?

Why does every ride rite install look like the air bag is way off center and about to slip off of the mounting plate? I've seen the day star cradles and they seem to correct this issue somewhat. Maybe I'm just crazy. Anyone?

When the spring is loaded the rear hanger flex backwards moving the axle slightly backward. So it's better to have it offset to the rear slightly.

You can start with guessing, but mostly you want to level it out after loading. A good starting point is 5 psi for every 200 lbs. of load. I like to keep mine at even pressure both sides -- it tends to ride a little funky on uneven pressures.

Looking into ordering a set today for my 13 Tacoma, defiantly will help out the stock leaf springs when hauling stuff in the bed. Anyone know is it a pretty easy install?

It is a pretty easy install, but I recommend an electric or air impact for tightening the nuts/bolts. You can use a wrench and socket, it's just a lot easier with the power tools since the you cannot just run the nuts up with your fingers and then torque it down.

Not complicated. Cutting the bump stops down takes a little time, and some of the nuts that go inside the brackets are a little tricky. But all in all not really hard.

The airbags are mounted directly under the frame which puts them offset to the center of the truck as the springs are centered outboard a bit (the tab sticking out of the frame is the bump stop bracket). Why Firestone chose not to extend the mounting plate more to the center for the bottom mount, who knows. Most likely, not a strength issue and so they didn't.

Have run these on my Tundra for 10+ years....run about 5psi for normal use and when hauling a trailer or such, I load things up and then air it up to where I want (usually to level the trailer tongue). If you haul the same load much of the time you will figure out what psi you need and can set it ahead of time. I rarely worry about the psi when loaded, I go more by how the truck sits and adjust the air pressure to get things where I want them. Only time I actually check the pressure is when I am running them at 5-10 psi on a daily basis....check it about once a month as they will lose some air over time.
