Mark me as going! Also I hope you guys can get race channels. Your should be able to. I dont have a HAM but if I did it would be a race radio. And it would be stupid expensive(but the same as your cheaper baofengs) and only get race channels. Last time the guys got the race channel easy. Like I said though I dont have one. ;)
And as far as recovery gear.... I got you guys :)

Also I think I will be getting there a earlier than 10:30(that may change). If everything goes as planned I can try and head back to the "front" entrance around 10:30. You guys should try and pic a HAM channel before we go that way if people get there early or late we can try and locate each other. Also to clarify you guys will be entering the Gorman entrance, not the Smokey Bear entrance, correct? Sorry I like to make things crystal clear, for less fuck ups lol

The ham channel we usually use is 144.150. The race/rugged radio are just pre programmed with the race channels but they can be changed as well.

But then I have to buy a cable and shit, if I had one.... You guys should be able to get race channels no problem. I am going to eventually reprogram the rugged that I dont have lol. But seriously lets just hit a race channel. I believe they just need to be the 150.xxx idk I have only been out there once when people had hams
