    it can be done...i have owned 6 tacomas, with a couple other brands in between.

    Thanks, my fenders came from the factory like that, but they are black as of now, but I'd imagine that over time the sun will begin to fade them into a darker shade of gray. My old jeeps fenders were black until 7 years later they were gray.. I'd try black plasti dip and if not you could always peel it off and try something else. Good luck.
