Installed a 2013 Radio That I got from a fellow TW member in to my 05 Tacoma, Mostly plug and play. Need to do a few mods to get more functions. Really just want the AUX and USB to work so i can hook up my Sirius again. If anyone That went this new to that old has any advice like what connectors to use or where to get it let me know!
Im going to check out this link to try to piece together some missing parts.

Do you have a USB and AUX port on the back of the head unit? If so, you could do what I did, which may be slightly easier and still looks stock

Installed my CB radio, I refuse to drill holes in my truck (my 50" curved LED bar brackets in my access cab is another story). However the prior owner or the dealership they bought it from had 2 small holes already drilled so I mounted my CB radio in it. Perfect spot, out of my way and easily accessible, maybe slide it over a little bit once I use it a couple of times though.

Just waiting on my firestik and antenna mount from BAMF.

Took a Tundra USB/AUX port apart, tool my dremel and cut out the USB pass through. Taped a Male-Female usb in place.

The back of the AUX port is a molex 5 pin, so I isolated the pins I needed, took an extra computer molex connector, spliced onto an AUX cable, then JB welded everything in place. Resulted in that port, with a USB and AUX cable out the back and into the head unit

That picture I posted earlier of the USB/AUX Cable

Took a Tundra USB/AUX port apart, tool my dremel and cut out the USB pass through. Taped a Male-Female usb in place.

The back of the AUX port is a molex 5 pin, so I isolated the pins I needed, took an extra computer molex connector, spliced onto an AUX cable, then JB welded everything in place. Resulted in that port, with a USB and AUX cable out the back and into the head unit

Its a injen brand heatshield and then a hydroshield. Theres different sizes though. I got mine on Amazon for cheaper than the ones through URD. for the hydroshield its x-1033 and the heatshield, you can get powdercoated black or chrome. That part number is HS5000. Heat shield was 56.10 on amazon and the hydroshield was 24.67. super easy to install. just take off the air filter, wrap that in the hydroshield (which I believe needs replaced once a year as per Injen) and you put the brackets for the heat shield inside the hose clamp and then just slide the filter back in. the hydroshields come in blue black and red. Ive already seen the hydroshield get wet when I was washing the truck, and it works great. Water just beads right off of it. My truck got pretty filthy while I was waiting to order that, because I was too scared of hydrolock to wash it, with the homertaco grill I have.

Awesome, going to order both this friday for sure. I have a grilcraft grill which is similar in open mesh design and I'm having an exposure issue with washing etc.
