Hello everyone, I have a quick question for my fellow Tacoma drivers. I have a 2012 v6 SR5 PreRunner with stock suspension and I am in the hunt for new tires. I currently am running Goodyear Wrangler AT 265/65/17 without a problem. There is no rubbing on full left and right turns. I want to step my tire size up without putting a lift on my truck. It is my daily driver/off road/fishing/firewood truck, so it pretty much goes on all terrain. I really like the Goodyear Wrangler Authority AT tires that Wal-Mart offers but know little about them. Does anyone run them on their personal vehicle? I've heard that the largest tire size I can put without a lift and no rubbing would be 265/70/17. Does anyone know if this is true? If I have to remove my mudflaps on the front and smaller ones that some what protect the fog lights, I will. Thanks for the help y'all!

    improved toyota goodness.
i have the goodyear Athority At from wm on my dodge dakota truck i use for work in 265 75 16...in my opinion theyr as good or slightly better than the duratrac in mud and about the same in rocks. in snow & ice theyr about as good as a non season specific tire gets... they are slightly loud on the highway as any off roadable tire worth its salt is. at 20$ less per tire than duratrac i say best tire ive ever used ever.

5100's front and rear, front 2.5" rear 2" AAL, 18% tint front and rear, color matched grill. SCS wheels 275/70/17 BFG AT KO's. DTRL toggle switch.
I was running the BFG AT ko @ 275/70/17 kind of loud (I'm lifted). I just put on BFG AT KO 2 the second generation, the ride and noise is so much better. I also stepped down to 265/70/17 which is just a little larger than stock in height. Even lifted I did have to remove the mud flaps on the front. Check out the BFG AT KO-2 much improved I got them for $885 ($185 a tire) out the door at discount tire. Warranty would have been $100 more I did not get it. I also got 50K out of the first gen tires still had good tread on the front.
