Yeah, I'd like some closure in public when this is all done. I know Dan has seen this. And you talked to Icon. I know Wheelers has never done anything wrong to me, and I have never seen a negative review. So it will be interesting if just an oversight. Not to mention, you should have contacted Wheelers before you contacted Icon.

You had a problem with a vendor, not the manufacturer. You should have called the vendor first. Icon doesn't know the specifics of your order. If you fat fingered an item, or something happened in packing your stuff up, they wouldn't have a clue about it.

Odd. The same Icon AAL this guy bought that says "made in Canada" is the same one this guy https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/icon-aal-new.379161/ bought that also says "Made in Canada."

It just looks like Wheelers might be forgetting to remove the "made in Canada" sticker and attach the "Icon" sticker that everyone else sees.

Because the icon sticker doesn't look like it was supposed to be there... it doesn't hold up well.

Personally I'd prefer some made in Canada stuff. Maybe then the upcharge wouldn't be so bad.

Did you see my post where I said...
"Those mini packs are made by I believe Standen, which is a leaf spring manufacturer in Canada, hence the marking"

Icon does not manufacture leaf packs or AALs, they just have an actual manufacturer make them and slap their sticker on it. Nothing new, made in Canada is stamped into the clips on em.

Anyone with a new Corolla or Mustang has a made in Canada product. Not to mention the coyote V8 in the F150 is made in Canada as well. Sorry to be off topic. Just made in Canada is actually attached to a lot of great products. However, if a company is advertising made in the USA and then I saw made in Canada I might have questions like OP. Not because Canada, more because WTF.

I'd be willing to bet even made in Canada would cost more if purchased in Canada then it would if bought in the US

    Shouldn't be.
Anytime I've had a "made in Canada" product, it's been of excellent quality.

We simply ship out the Add-a-Leaf sets that Icon sends to us. They are indeed stamped with a Made In Canada mark. I looked up the items on ICONs site, and found that they do have a Tab Bar that has a Made in USA pic at the end of it. The same Tab Bar appears to be on every product page.
