So I installed my Icon RR Coilovers on my '14 Tacoma today and have some serious taco lean. I went to adjust them, raised the wheels off the ground, sprayed the threads with PB Blaster, loosened the set screw and attempted to use the spanner wrench to adjust the drivers side coil... Well... It seems the hoses from the Resis get in the way and I actually got the spanner stuck in the coil bucket. Haha... Well, I ended up getting the spanner out, but it seems I'm missing a step somewhere or if someone has an easier way to adjust them, please let me know. This is my first experience with adjustable coilovers on a truck.

Use the other side of the spanner. Or just jam a small 1/4" drive socket on an extension in one of the holes.

Thanks for the tip, I thought of that just didn't want to do any damage to the holes.

Oh yeah I ran into this problem too. Got impatient and was being cheap so I just used like a 6 or 8mm socket. It fit pretty snug and I was actually able to turn the collars very easily without damaging any of the holes.

Got it all figured out! Thanks for the info, I just used the back side of the spanner and pushed/pulled. PB blaster on the threads helped I'm sure.

I've run into the same issue after I got my Stage 5 Kit installed. I thought about using the socket, punch, and finally just broke down and bought there tool (mainly because it wasn't that expensive, gave me more leverage, and I wasn't going to do it for another couple of days which would give the tool the time to be delivered). I would recommend next time or to anyone that decides to do this (since it's not mentioned above), take the load off the front end with a jack and use some jack stands. Obviously, make sure you are in park and the brake is set before you do it...maybe even rear tires blocked if you want to be even safer. This will really help with the adjustments. No WD-40, or PB Blaster needed.

I see you have a plate bumper. Have you considered upgrading your radiator core support body mount bushings?

I found that because of how sloppy these are, and how much movement they allow from the support (which essentially ties into the inner fender wells, which ties into the rest of the body) to the frame, there is no accurate way to get proper measurements from either side of your hub to fenders when taking them because of all the shifting that occurs.

The following pics show you exactly why:

I can't remember having to combat "Taco lean" whatsoever with these on.

Yep. Weight off wheels and crank away. I think I had 10 turns on the driver side and 4 or 5 on passenger side to get them as close to even on my truck. Don't worry if they are not even as they won't be. I was thinking that and drove me nuts until I realized that.

You also have to drive it around a little or bounce the suspension up and down to settle it before getting a correct measurement.

You can find them on Amazon or Summit Racing. Very accessible online. You could maybe even order them in from your local parts store. Give me a second and I'll grab the link to the thread where I posted all the info about them.
