6 years ago I gave in to spousal comfort and sold my tundra when we moved to the city. Then I had an AWD honda pilot, which was fine for snow, but dang did I miss having a proper 4wd. So, on the 4th of July I bought my first Tacoma. I've had a tundra and two 4runners in the past, but always wanted a taco. This truck is a thing of beauty, even bone-stock. Double cab, short bed, TRD-OR. Can't wait to get some decent tires, a teensy lift, and maybe some lightweight offroad gear! I don't know the first thing about mods, though, so I'm going to be very dependent on the folks on this forum for sure. Truth is, I've had 4runners in places that most jeeps would fear to go, so I haven't previously felt the need for mods. This truck is longer and heavier with shallower approach/departure angles, though, so I'm guessing I'll want some minor tweaks. Thanks for the great forum, I've been lurking for the last couple weeks.
