does the 110 outlet in the bed have a reset? I was going to try to run a small heat gun off of it but I'm worried what if it trips it is there a trip and reset button?

I am not aware of one on mine. Check the manual. I'd think it would pop a fuse if there was too much draw.

It also says in the manual that if to much draw there is a fuse located inside the interior fuse block location.

Ok so this is the first time I used it so the truck was running and I pressed the button and both green and Amber lights came on. It seemed to run the heat gun ok but it did seem to blow a bit softer then at the house. I got the job done and that's all that matters!! First use was a success!!

As long as you don't blow a fuse, the inverter will trip and cut-off but it will reset after a while. I have had this happen a couple times.

Just the essentials and no extra fluff.
It's a 400 watt inverter. I'm certain that if you're heat gun was manufactured in the last 30 years it has a voltage and an amperage rating on it. volts x amps = watts.

Also remember many inverters are not true sine wave output like your AC sockets in your house. That might be why your heat gun ran different. I would suspect the ones in trucks ate just a basic inverter. Many motor dvices will either run different or not at all.
