Clutch pedal has too much play

    My clutch pedal has about 3" of play before it actually engages, is there a way to fix this and/or does it even need to be fixed? The guy before me put a brand new clutch in so maybe it's just not broken in yet?

    Nothing wrong with that as long as theres no slipping or anything. You're probably correct about it needing to be broken in.
